Singer Kim Gun-mo is returning to the public with his first new song in a decade.

Kim will release a new single, "Eodijjeum Gago Isseulkka" ("Where Am I Headed?"), across major online music platforms Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The release marks his first new music in 10 years, since he presented the track "Da Dangsin Deokbunirao" on his 2016 album "50," released to mark his 25th debut anniversary.

"Eodijjeum Gago Isseulkka" is a remake of the title track from singer Jeon Yeong's 1977 debut album. In the song, Kim plays guitar for the first time, departing from the piano-accompanied image audiences have long associated with him.

Kim suspended his activities in 2019 after a YouTube channel raised sexual assault allegations against him. He was later cleared of the allegations.

After a six-year hiatus, Kim embarked on a nationwide tour last year. Every show sold out, through the final performance in Seoul in March.

Throughout the tour, Kim repeatedly said he intended to approach his comeback "with the mindset of debuting all over again, preparing a new album."
