Broadcaster Sam Hammington has shown off a noticeably slimmer appearance.
Hammington appeared Tuesday in the web variety show "Gaegwacheonson Seo In-young," a celebrity makeover program.
In the episode, singer Seo In-young visited Hammington's home to see his two sons, William and Bentley. Hammington came to the door to greet her, and Seo was visibly surprised by his changed appearance, saying he had "lost a lot of weight" and asking whether it was "because of parenting." When pressed on his secret, Hammington said, "I'm in the process of losing weight. I've been getting injections."
The use of GLP-1 weight-loss drugs such as Wegovy and Mounjaro has been growing rapidly in South Korean entertainment circles. Comedians Kwak Beom and Lee Chang-ho, YouTuber Ppanibottle and singer Cardigan have all publicly disclosed their use of GLP-1 obesity treatments, drawing wide attention.
