Lotte Department Store announced it will open a new location of premium lifestyle concept store The Conran Shop at its Incheon branch on Friday.

The store will be the fifth Conran Shop location in South Korea, following branches at the Gangnam, Dongtan, main and Jamsil stores. It marks the brand's first entry into the Incheon and western Greater Seoul market, where demand for premium home furnishings has been rising sharply.

The Incheon location will bring together globally renowned design furniture brands including Cassina, Knoll, Carl Hansen&Søn, Herman Miller and Vitra. The store will also carry modular furniture brand USM, along with design lighting, home accessories and The Conran Shop's own private-label collection.

The store's curation reflects the character of the surrounding area. Taking into account strong move-in demand from nearby neighborhoods such as Songdo, Cheongna and Yeongjong, the store will offer a one-stop lifestyle selection spanning furniture, lighting, textiles and living accessories.

Through July 26, design lighting and chair products will be discounted by up to 20 percent. Customers who spend 5 million won ($3,250) or more on USM products will receive an additional 5 percent discount. Gift curation items will also be offered at 10 to 20 percent off, and customers will receive Lotte gift certificates and special gifts based on their purchase amount. During the same period, the Gangnam, main, Jamsil and Dongtan branches will also offer up to 20 percent off design lighting and chair products.

The Incheon branch has undergone extensive renovations over the past three years and has bolstered its lineup of high-end brands. Lotte Department Store plans to leverage the synergy from The Conran Shop's addition to capture premium demand across the western Greater Seoul area.

"We will work to establish The Conran Shop Incheon as a platform that offers a differentiated space and cultural experience grounded in world-class design brands and high-quality lifestyle content," said Choi Yun-seok, head of Lotte Department Store's content division.
