SSG.com announced Thursday that it is running a first-half grocery sale event, "SSG Grocery Festa," through July 1.

The event features special prices on products chosen as "Bestseller Award" winners based on first-half sales data. Among fresh foods, Australian marinated beef bulgogi, Korean melon and cleaned squid posted the highest sales. In processed foods, ramyun, sesame oil and cheese were top sellers, while toilet paper and laundry detergent led the household goods category. Customer review-based picks for the 'Rave Review Award' and value-focused 'Smart Living Award' selections are also on offer.

A daily roulette event will run throughout the sale period. Customers can spin the roulette to win grocery credits of 100 won, 1,000 won, 2,000 won, 5,000 won, 10,000 won ($7) or 30,000 won. The 30,000-won grocery credit will be awarded by lottery exclusively to SSG7 Club members.

A food brand sale will offer discounts of up to 50 percent on CJ CheilJedang products, along with buy-one-get-one and bundle deals, plus a 5,000-won shopping cart coupon for purchases of 40,000 won or more. Daesang and Dongwon F&B will offer exclusive discounted products for SSG7 Club members. Customers spending 45,000 won or more on Dongsuh Foods products will receive a 3,000-won discount.
