Broadcaster Ahn Young-mi is stepping away from the airwaves ahead of the birth of her second child.

Ahn posted a message Sunday on her social media accounts addressed to listeners of MBC FM4U's "Two O'Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi."

"My dear listeners, I'll have a healthy and smooth delivery and come right back," she wrote, adding, "I hope you won't tune in to other radio stations while I'm gone."

She also kept her signature humor intact, writing, "I'll be monitoring the whole time, so please go easy on the guest DJs."

Photos shared alongside the post showed Ahn in the final stage of her pregnancy, cradling her belly with a bright smile as she looked ahead to the birth.

Signing off after her final broadcast before maternity leave, Ahn said, "I can't believe I'm about to have my second child. It feels like a dream that this is my last show."

Ahn gave birth to her first child, a son, in the United States in 2023, where her husband was living at the time. The delivery abroad drew allegations of birth tourism.

Ahn married a corporate employee at a foreign-affiliated company in 2020 and has one son.
