Lotte World announced Monday that it has invited firefighters and their families to Lotte World Adventure as part of its observance of June's Patriots and Veterans Month.

The invitation was arranged under "Dream Ticket," Lotte World's flagship corporate social responsibility campaign. The program invites culturally underserved groups and individuals who dedicate themselves to public service to visit Lotte World facilities. Since the campaign launched in 2015, roughly 120,000 people have taken part, including about 10,000 last year.

Lotte World provided Dream Tickets worth about 10 million won (approximately $6,560) to firefighters and their families, who are scheduled to visit Lotte World Adventure in groups throughout June. The campaign was designed to express gratitude to firefighters who protect the daily lives of citizens and to give them a day to enjoy with their families.

On June 19, Kim Myeong-cheol, a fire officer at the Paju Unjeong 119 Safety Center, visited Lotte World Adventure with his family. Kim has served as a firefighter for more than a decade, protecting the lives and safety of citizens.

Kim and his family were greeted at the entrance by Lotte World Adventure's signature characters, Lotty and Lorry. They kicked off the day with a photo in front of the carousel before strolling through the park at the children's pace.

"I always do my best, reminding myself that the person I'm helping is someone's most precious family member — but I've always felt sorry that my busy schedule left me with so little time for my own family," Kim said. "It was truly meaningful to be able to create good memories with my wife and children through this opportunity." He expressed his gratitude to Lotte World Adventure.

Beyond the Dream Ticket program, Lotte World continues its theme-park-driven social contribution efforts through several other initiatives: "Visiting Theme Park," which brings live performances directly to hospitalized children; "Dream Stage," which gives children with pediatric cancer a chance to perform on a dream stage; and "Dream Job," a career exploration event where participants can experience various roles at Lotte World, including folk museum curator.
