Seoul's Seongdong-gu district office will host a "2027 College Admissions Early-Application Strategy Seminar" for local students and parents on July 14 at the district office's third-floor grand auditorium.

The seminar is designed to give college-bound students and their parents a final, practical strategy check before early-admissions applications open in early September.

The event will feature Yun Yeo-jeong, lead consultant of the YouTube channel "Univ Class" and head of Yun & Go Admissions Consulting, who will lecture on the theme "Selection Criteria for Gaining Admission in the 2027 Academic Year."

Yun will cover a step-by-step roadmap for early-admissions applications, a guide to choosing which programs to apply to, and methods for analyzing and making the most of College Scholastic Ability Test scores.

Students and parents wishing to attend may register through the express-reservation system on the Seongdong-gu district office website by July 10. Pre-registration is limited to the first 500 applicants.

Meanwhile, the Seongdong Admissions Counseling Center operates year-round one-on-one consulting sessions and a parents' admissions academy for local students and families, and also runs special consulting programs for early admissions, regular admissions and interviews in line with the academic calendar.

"We offer a wide range of admissions support programs to meet the needs of students and parents as the admissions environment and selection criteria change each year," a district official said. "We hope this seminar helps students and parents prepare for college admissions in a more systematic way."
