Singer Ailee is not pregnant, her agency said Saturday, dismissing rumors that spread after fans spotted her rubbing her stomach during a recent performance.

"She is not currently pregnant," A2Z Entertainment said. "When there is good news, she will share it herself."

The speculation began at a coffee festival held along the Gyeongchun Line forest trail, where Ailee appeared on stage in a loose-fitting dress and touched her stomach mid-performance.

Fans quickly began speculating that she might be expecting. Attention intensified because Ailee had previously spoken openly about trying to have a child with her husband, and some fans posted congratulatory messages online.

Since marrying Choi Si-hoon, Ailee has consistently shared updates about her IVF journey with fans through her YouTube channel. The couple documented their preparations for pregnancy and were candid about the fact that their first embryo transfer did not result in a pregnancy.

After beginning further attempts, the couple received medical advice recommending a period of rest. Ailee is currently taking time to recover physically and emotionally before continuing with their family plans.
