The Catholic University of Korea Seoul St. Mary's Hospital announced Monday that its NaPro Pregnancy Center held a "fetal blessing ceremony" at the hospital's chapel for expectant couples and their unborn children who achieved natural conception through NaProTechnology.

NaProTechnology closely monitors a woman's menstrual cycle, hormonal changes and ovulation patterns to identify and treat the underlying causes of infertility. It differs from conventional infertility treatment in that it focuses on restoring a woman's natural fertility.

The ceremony was organized so couples who had long struggled with infertility could share in the joy of welcoming new life after recovering their natural reproductive capacity. Father Shin Hee-jun, vice director of spiritual affairs at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, presided over the event. Attendees included NaPro Pregnancy Center director Park In-yang, professor Lee Young, spiritual nursing director Sister Ra Jeong-ran, Korea's first certified NaProTechnology practitioner Cho Mi-jin, practitioner Ko Eun-kyung, and other medical staff, faculty and family members, all gathered to celebrate the arrival of new life.
