Italy's RAI spotlights Korea's AI and robotics industry, featuring Galaxy Corporation

Galaxy Corporation, a global physical AI entertainment technology company, is drawing international attention after being featured in a special program on Korea's AI and robotics industry by Italian state broadcaster RAI (Radiotelevisione Italiana).

RAI aired an in-depth report on Korea's AI and robotics sector June 7 through its flagship current affairs program "In Mezz'ora," produced by journalists Antonella Ventre and Daniele Babbo. The segment was titled "Korea: Humans and Robots Living Together Within 15 Years."

The broadcast analyzed how Korea is building a new technology ecosystem centered on AI, humanoid robots and digital content, and highlighted the leading companies driving those industries. Among them, Galaxy Corporation's business model and the vision of CEO Choi Yong-ho received prominent coverage.

In an interview, Choi shared his views on the direction of AI technology and the future of society. "The ultimate purpose of AI is not to replace humans but to expand human life," he said, adding that robots would become as naturally embedded in daily life as smartphones within the next 15 years.

He also said it was important to build a human-centered future rather than a technology-centered one, and that he expected an environment to emerge in which robots live alongside people while understanding human emotion, culture and philosophy.

Galaxy Corporation develops entertainment technology projects that combine AI and robotics with K-content and intellectual property businesses. The company is expanding its reach across digital humans, AI content and artist IP, pursuing the convergence of technology and content across multiple fields.

The company recently drew attention with "MACH33: Physical AI Fashion Show," a runway event in which human models and humanoid robots appeared on stage together. The event was cited as an example of the potential for AI and robotics to merge with culture and the arts.

Industry observers say the RAI coverage reflects growing overseas interest in Korea's AI industry and the physical AI sector.
