Artspace3 in Jongno-gu, Seoul, is hosting the group exhibition "Metamorphosis" through July 18. The show brings together four artists — Kim Min-hun (b. 1997), Lee Hwan-hee (b. 1990), Ha Seong-uk (b. 1991) and Ham Su-ji (b. 1996) — to explore the possibilities of existence and creation that endure through change.
The title "Metamorphosis" evokes transformation and mutation. Working across sculpture and painting, the four artists each approach the subject from a distinct angle — examining how plants grow, how the body changes and how materials undergo physical transformation. Together, the works illuminate the layered nature of beings that resist fixed identity and instead exist in a state of constant becoming.
