Pizza chain partners with Red Cross to promote donation culture at Korea Polytechnic University
Domino's Pizza announced Friday that it had partnered with the Korean Red Cross to deliver pizza to participants at a blood donation event ahead of Blood Donor Day on June 14.
The company dispatched its party car to a donation drive held Thursday at Korea Polytechnic University's South Incheon campus, where it served freshly baked pizza to donors. The event follows a similar initiative last June, when the chain delivered pizza to donors at the Incheon Blood Center, continuing its efforts this year to spread a culture of blood donation.
A Domino's Pizza official said the company would "continue to be a brand that practices sharing — with blood donors and at various other events in the community."
