Lottery funds used to improve living conditions for vulnerable residents
The Woori Neighborhood Welfare Mobile Unit of Damyang-gun installed solar safety lights in alleys home to vulnerable residents in Daechuri village, Bongsan-myeon, on Wednesday.
The initiative, carried out in partnership with KEPCO MCS, aimed to prevent accidents in poorly lit alleyways and improve nighttime walking conditions for local residents.
In addition to installing the solar lights, mobile unit members visited elderly residents living alone, collecting discarded waste from inside and outside their homes and inspecting electrical facilities as part of a broader effort to improve residential conditions.
