Suseong University's Private Security Education Center signed an MOU with the Gumi Senior Job Creation Support Center on Tuesday at the university's Gyeongbok Hall, aimed at expanding employment opportunities for older adults in the private security sector.
Under the agreement, the Private Security Education Center will provide trainees with professional, high-quality introductory security training and serve as a bridge connecting graduates to the Gumi center's tailored employment support programs.
The Gumi Senior Job Creation Support Center will offer comprehensive support to senior graduates seeking work, including personalized employment counseling, job placement and follow-up assistance.
Lee Jeong-gi, director of the Private Security Education Center, said the MOU "will serve as a solid stepping stone to give seniors seeking employment a real opportunity to re-enter the workforce as private security guards."
