Actor Ko Jun-hee has revealed how her ice cream habit got so out of hand that she sold her refrigerator to break it.
Ko recently posted a video titled "A must-watch review of 20 low-sugar snacks before your summer diet" on her personal YouTube channel.
In the video, she shared candid body-management tips with subscribers heading into the summer fitness season.
"During COVID, there were times I would eat two ice creams a night. It became a routine before bed," she said. "I could not fall asleep without them. I kept it up for more than a month."
She added that she had a separate refrigerator in her room and would stop to buy two or three ice creams on her way home after finishing her schedule.
"I could not sleep if I did not eat those two. I had been doing that for over a month, and I had a diet commercial shoot coming up," she said, and went on to say, "No matter what I tried, the weight I had gained would not come off. So I made up my mind and sold the refrigerator. I had put on 6 to 7 kilograms just like that. It made me realize ice cream is truly terrifying."
She also said that low-sugar products did not exist back then. "The world has really gotten so much better," she added.
