Comedian Kim Shin-young said she was moved to tears while thinking of her late mentor Jeon Yu-seong.

On Saturday, tvN's "You Quiz on the Block" released a preview clip on its official social media channels featuring Kim as a guest.

In the clip, Kim said she burst into tears while listening to AKMU's song "Joy, Sorrow, Beautiful Heart."

"I kept thinking of Professor Jeon," she said, and went on to say, "I was listening to an AKMU song and thought to myself — have I ever cried this hard before?"

She then recalled a memory from when she was suffering from panic disorder. "There was a small lake in front of the theater," she said. "Because we couldn't hold hands, he placed his hand on mine and told me, 'Life has its joys and its sorrows — that's all there is to it. What more is there to life?' I kept thinking of that moment." She spoke with a sorrowful expression.

Jeon died last year at 76 after his pneumothorax worsened. Kim had studied comedy under Jeon and delivered a eulogy at his funeral.
