An incident in which two women physically blocked an empty parking space at a hypermarket and hurled profanity at a driver has sparked widespread outrage online.

A photo taken at a hypermarket parking lot in Suyeong-gu, Busan, was recently posted to the online community Bobaedream.

The image shows two women standing their ground in an empty parking space, preventing another vehicle from pulling in.

The person who posted the photo, identified only as A, said they had experienced the incident firsthand. "I had only ever seen 'human parking cones' on the internet — actually being on the receiving end of it was absurd and infuriating," A said.

According to A, the two women not only blocked other vehicles from parking but also unleashed a torrent of abuse at a driver who confronted them.

"My child was in the car, and they swore so relentlessly that I'm still shaking," A said. "Parking spaces are for cars first."

Commenters reacted with a mix of outrage and advice. "Block them in, turn off your engine and walk away," one wrote. "Film it on your phone and report them for child abuse," said another. Others simply called the behavior "incomprehensible."
