Pre-orders open Friday for brand's first Korean model

Single charge range up to 483 km; ultra-fast charging supported

Nine showrooms open nationwide, with expansion to 14 by year-end

Luxury technology brand Zeekr is entering the South Korean market with the premium midsize electric SUV 7X, pricing the model from 52.99 million won ($34,700) and opening pre-orders and showrooms at the same time.

Zeekr Korea said Friday it has begun accepting pre-orders for the 7X, the brand's first model in South Korea. Customer deliveries are expected to begin as early as July or August, pending certification by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The vehicle is on display at nine showrooms across the country — in Seoul's Gangnam, Seocho and Gangseo districts; Pangyo, Ilsan, Incheon and Suwon in Gyeonggi Province; Daejeon; and Busan.

The Zeekr 7X is a pure-electric five-seat midsize SUV. It is the first model from Zeekr's global lineup to be introduced in South Korea, and the first market outside China to receive the facelifted version. The launch comes as imported electric vehicle brands such as Tesla and BYD have been gaining ground in South Korea's EV market.

The vehicle is built on Zeekr's dedicated EV SEA platform. Its design was completed at Zeekr's design studio in Sweden, with a gently sloping roofline and short overhangs that emphasize the proportions characteristic of electric SUVs.

The 7X measures 4,800 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width and 1,650 mm in height, with a 2,900 mm wheelbase that provides a spacious interior despite its midsize footprint. Trunk capacity stands at 539 liters, offering ample storage for family trips, camping and leisure activities.

The 7X will be sold in South Korea in three trims: Pro, Max and Ultra. The Pro trim uses Zeekr's in-house-developed 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate-based "Golden Battery," while the Max and Ultra trims are equipped with a 100 kWh nickel-cobalt-manganese battery supplied by CATL.

The rear-wheel-drive Pro and Max trims use a single motor producing 421 horsepower and 45 kg·m of torque. Certified driving range on a single charge is 375 km for the Pro and 483 km for the Max under Korean standards.

The high-performance Ultra trim is an all-wheel-drive model with electric motors on both the front and rear axles. It produces 645 horsepower and 72.4 kg·m of torque, and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Its certified combined range on a single charge is 440 km.

Zeekr also highlighted the 7X's charging capability. Based on an 800-volt high-voltage system, the vehicle supports ultra-fast charging at up to 360 kW under global specifications. Under optimal conditions, charging from 10 percent to 80 percent takes approximately 13 minutes for the Pro trim and about 16 minutes for the Max and Ultra trims.

Prices are set at 52.99 million won for the Pro, 59.99 million won for the Max and 69.99 million won for the Ultra. The strategy pairs competitive pricing with strong driving performance in the imported premium electric SUV segment.

"Korean consumers are discerning customers who consider quality, technology and uncompromising safety when choosing a vehicle," a Zeekr Korea official said. "The Zeekr 7X goes beyond simply being a means of transportation — it will set a new standard for the luxury family SUV that elevates the quality of life for every family member."

The official added that the company would "change the paradigm of the domestic electric vehicle market and quickly establish the brand's presence through differentiated product competitiveness and genuine customer service."

Zeekr Korea also plans to expand its sales network. Having opened nine showrooms nationwide, the company intends to grow that number to 14 by the end of the year. Its service network will cover 11 centers across the country, including one on Jeju Island, to support after-sales care.

Having recently opened a Gangnam center to broaden its reach among local customers, Zeekr aims to rapidly build brand recognition in South Korea's electric vehicle market on the back of the 7X launch.
