Yeungnam University of Science and Technology held the "2026 HRS Korea Recruitment Fair" on Thursday at the audiovisual room of its Computer Information Building, drawing current students and high school students alike.

The event was organized as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's "High School Student Customized Employment Service" project. It introduced HRS Korea — a well-regarded mid-sized company — and its hiring plans, while giving students and prospective university enrollees practical information for career planning.

The fair ran in two separate sessions. The first, beginning at 1 p.m., drew about 150 enrolled students and featured a company overview, recruitment guidance and a question-and-answer segment.

Attendees learned about HRS Korea's core business areas, the qualities it seeks in candidates, job-specific hiring plans and working conditions — information they could apply directly to their job search preparations.

During the Q&A session, students asked wide-ranging questions about the competencies the company values most in hiring, role-specific requirements, and opportunities for training and career development after joining.

A second session for high school students began at 3 p.m.

That session covered not only HRS Korea's company profile and recruitment plans but also the university's work-learning parallel program. More than 140 students from about 20 high schools across Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province took part.

President Lee Jae-yong said the fair "was a meaningful occasion for students to get direct access to hiring information from a top-tier company and to map out their career paths in concrete terms."
