City website and Visit Busan platform to offer integrated guidance on safety, transport and tourism
Busan city government said Friday it will operate an integrated online information hub providing administrative guidance and tourism content ahead of the BTS World Tour Arirang IN Busan performances on June 12 and 13. The hub will deliver tailored information through the city's official website and the Busan Tourism Organization's Visit Busan platform, with users able to switch between the two sites seamlessly.
The city's official website will carry performance details for Busan Asiad Main Stadium alongside crowd safety guidelines, locations of emergency hospitals and pharmacies, and heat-wave precautions. Administrative services will also be available, covering directions to the venue, extended operating hours and increased train frequency on nearby urban rail lines, advance guidance on parking locations at major transport hubs, and details on luggage storage facilities and lost-and-found services.
A tourism complaint center will be accessible across the entire hub to handle reports of illegal conduct, price gouging and poor service. Banners with QR codes will be installed at the main venue, key entry points and crowded areas so tourists can access the integrated hub from their mobile devices, combining online and offline channels.
Alongside this, the city is pursuing a "city-wide festival" project that transforms Busan into a single cultural tourism space, allowing BTS fans and tourists to explore the city fully. Through the Visit Busan portal (visitbusan.net), visitors can access recommended travel itineraries, theme-based event information and downloadable digital brochures on tourism and dining.
"The BTS World Tour Arirang IN Busan will be a landmark event that draws the world's attention to Busan," a city official said. "By building an integrated online information hub that every domestic and international visitor can easily access, we will establish Busan's reputation worldwide as a safe, enjoyable tourism city worth returning to."
