Park Kyul (Doosan Construction), a competitor on the KLPGA Tour, has signed a sponsorship agreement with H Motors Co., the official Volvo Cars dealer led by CEO Hwang Ho-jin.
Under the deal, Park will receive a Volvo XC90 plug-in hybrid — the brand's flagship SUV — and is expected to take part in various brand activities with H Motors going forward.
H Motors said it chose to sponsor Park in recognition of her dedication and professionalism built up over a long career on the KLPGA Tour. The company said Park's image as a disciplined and relentlessly driven competitor aligns with Volvo's brand values of safety and sustainability.
The XC90 plug-in hybrid is the centerpiece of Volvo's electrification strategy, combining the automaker's signature safety technology, an eco-friendly powertrain and premium driving performance.
"We are thrilled to partner with Park Kyul, one of the KLPGA's most representative players," Hwang said. "Her consistency and competitive spirit mirror the values Volvo stands for. We hope the XC90 plug-in hybrid gives her a safer and more comfortable environment to perform at her very best."
"I am deeply thankful to H Motors for this meaningful support," Park said. "I will do my best to show fans an even better version of myself alongside the Volvo XC90 plug-in hybrid."
