Over 70% of customers choose bespoke
New Ombré paint options, other specs added
Bentley Motors has released its 2026 Mulliner Personal Commissioning Guide, showcasing new personalization options from Mulliner, the automaker's dedicated bespoke division.
Mulliner offers a range of bespoke specifications that allow customers to express their individuality through their vehicles. More than 70 percent of Bentley customers currently choose vehicles with Mulliner bespoke options, and the division continues to expand its offerings in response to growing demand for personalization.
The most notable addition in this year's guide is the expansion of the Ombré by Mulliner exterior paint lineup. The finish is a hand-painted technique in which two craftspeople spend approximately 56 hours seamlessly blending two colors together.
Five new color combinations join the existing three — Topaz Blue-Windsor Blue, Sunburst Gold-Orange Flame, and Tungsten-Onyx — bringing the total to eight options. The new additions are Alpine Green-Verdant, Cricket Ball-Black Velvet, Pale Brodgar-Brodgar, Portofino-Marlin, and Grey Violet-Damson.
A new Ombré Piano Veneer, designed to complement the exterior color, is also available. It creates a continuous flow of color from the center of the cabin through to the doors.
New design elements have been added for performance models as well. The Continental GT S, Continental GTC S, and Speed lineup will offer a Mulliner Racing Stripe option, consisting of a wide central stripe flanked by two thinner stripes in contrasting colors to emphasize a dynamic appearance.
Interior trim options have also been enhanced. The new Wave technical finish metal veneer features a three-dimensional ribbon-like pattern designed to heighten both visual and tactile appeal. The specification is available on the Continental GT and Continental GTC.
Customers can also have motifs or custom designs laser-etched onto open-pore wood veneer, high-gloss veneer, satin-finish carbon fiber, and technical finish materials. New welcome lamp animations have been introduced as well, along with support for personalized ambient lighting.
A Bentley representative said the Mulliner Bespoke Portfolio team proposes color, trim, and finish combinations suited to each model, adding that customers can work with a Mulliner consultant to bring their own bespoke vehicle to life.
Meanwhile, Bentley, founded in 1919, currently sells five model lines: the Continental GT, Continental GTC, Flying Spur, Bentayga, and Bentayga EWB.
