Lotte Wellfood makes its debut at the fair with group-level support
Shin Yu-yeol, head of the future growth division at Lotte Holdings, attended THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, late last month, taking a hands-on role in the company's overseas operations.
THAIFEX is Asia's largest food trade fair, organized by Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion and the Thai Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Anuga, a major German food exhibition. This year's edition ran from May 26 to 30, local time.
Shin toured the Lotte Wellfood booth, which was making its first appearance at the fair. The food unit operated 14 booths covering 126 square meters. Shin reviewed operations and encouraged staff, providing group-level support to ensure a successful global sales drive. Lotte Wellfood CEO Seo Jeong-ho also attended and led the company's global sales efforts on the ground.
Tanit Chiravanon, who heads the wholesale division of CP Axtra — the retail arm of CP Group, Thailand's largest conglomerate — visited the Lotte Wellfood booth and exchanged greetings with Shin and Seo.
Meanwhile, the fair drew more than 3,600 companies from 56 countries, with nearly 100,000 visitors from 148 nations.
