Broadcaster Cho Se-ho surpassed 100,000 YouTube subscribers within a day of launching his channel.

Cho launched the YouTube channel "Moreuneunde Eotteoke Gayo" (a show about going anywhere fans invite him) on Thursday and released his first video, officially beginning his YouTube career.

In the debut video, Cho addressed past controversies and offered another apology.

"To those who were disappointed and those who felt uncomfortable because of what happened before, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize once more," he said, bowing his head.

"2026 has been a meaningful year for me," Cho said. "More than ever, it has been a time to look back on the path I have walked — a meaningful year for reflection and for steeling my resolve going forward." He added that he had also spent a great deal of time with his family.

He then said he would "become a Cho Se-ho who takes responsibility for his relationships, looks out for those around him and acts with care above all else."

"I turn 46 next year, and I still have a long way to go," he said. "Through this time, I will work to be someone who takes responsibility for who I am and can bring smiles and joy to all of you." He added, "If you are willing, I hope you will continue to cheer me on."

Through the channel, Cho plans to collect stories from the public and visit anyone who invites him. "Events, weddings, first-birthday celebrations, company dinners — all of it is welcome. I will do my best to show up wherever you call me," he said, expressing his ambition to become what he called a "professional attendee."

Cho was caught up in allegations of ties to organized crime late last year, which he denied. Seeking to ease viewers' discomfort, he stepped down from the variety show "You Quiz on the Block" and KBS 2TV's "2 Days & 1 Night Season 4," scaling back his broadcast activities. He has since consistently maintained a presence through the Netflix variety show "Doraiver," though the program will air its final episode on Nov. 21.
