Seegene posted an operating profit of 11.64 billion won ($8.68 million) in the third quarter on a consolidated basis, up 21.2 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Friday.

Revenue for the same period came in at 123.12 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting an 8.4 percent increase year-on-year.

The company swung to a net loss of 18.81 billion won for the quarter.
