Kumho Petrochemical swung to an operating loss of 20.83 billion won ($15.5 million) on a consolidated basis in the third quarter, compared with a profit a year earlier, the company disclosed Friday.

Revenue for the same period came in at 1.92 trillion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 16.89 percent increase from a year earlier.

Net loss also swung to a deficit of 22 billion won.
