Green Finger My Baby Top-to-Toe Wash hits shelves in foam formula
Domestic infant body care market grows 14% over two years
Share of body wash products for under-3s expands 1.6-fold in a year
Yuhan-Kimberly announced Friday the launch of the Top-to-Toe Wash, a new product under its newborn skincare brand Green Finger My Baby.
The company introduced the Green Finger My Baby brand in September and has now expanded its lineup with the new release. The Top-to-Toe Wash joins the existing First Serum as a head-to-body cleansing product.
The domestic infant body care market is also expanding. According to Worldpanel's second-quarter 2026 baby skincare market research note, the South Korean infant body care market grew about 14 percent in value over the past two years. Within the body wash segment, products designed exclusively for infants and toddlers under 3 years old accounted for about 1.6 times their previous share over the past year.
Birth numbers are also on the rise. According to the Ministry of Statistics, 254,341 babies were born in South Korea last year, up about 6.7 percent from the year before. The cumulative birth count for January through August this year rose 14.5 percent compared with the same period last year.
The new product comes in a foam format that can be used with one hand, allowing caregivers to support the baby while applying the wash without lathering separately. It contains a ceramide complex, plant-derived young shoot extract and Lactobacillus ferment filtrate.
Yuhan-Kimberly said it conducted human application tests on infants and toddlers aged 3 months to under 36 months to verify safety and suitability. The company also confirmed improved skin hydration after two weeks of use and completed sensitive-skin low-irritation and alternative eye-irritation tests.
"We will continue to introduce products with verified ingredients, efficacy and safety, grounded in research on the skin characteristics of newborns," a Yuhan-Kimberly official said.
