E-mart24 announced Friday that all three Kim Chang-soo whisky expressions it offered through its Bottle Order service this year — the Celestial Series Dal, Mokseong and the Gimpo 2026 Edition — have sold out.

The Maker's Mark Private Selection "The Nutty Chocolate," released through Bottle Order on Thursday, sold out its entire run of 240 bottles within a single day. The expression comes in a 750-milliliter bottle at 54.7 percent alcohol by volume and is priced at 118,000 won ($88).

The product is a special limited edition curated directly by E-mart24's liquor team, which selected the type and combination of oak staves used in finishing. Ten staves — chosen from five varieties — were placed inside an oak cask holding Maker's Mark cask-strength spirit and left to finish for nine weeks. Cask-strength whisky is bottled without the addition of water to adjust the alcohol content.

The sell-outs reflect broader growth in E-mart24's online liquor pickup service: sales through the channel rose 168 percent year-on-year from January through October. "We plan to continue sourcing distinctive liquor products exclusive to E-mart24 and to strengthen the competitiveness of app-based services such as Bottle Order," said Kim Si-hwon, a merchandise director on E-mart24's liquor team.
