Korean Standards Association releases 2026 KS-SQI results

Coway earns top industry scores for service expertise, sincerity and proactiveness

Offers in-home and self-managed service; app enables product diagnosis and monitoring

Coway has topped the after-sales service rankings for water purifiers for the 10th consecutive year and for air purifiers for the ninth consecutive year in the 2026 Korean Standard-Service Quality Index survey conducted by the Korean Standards Association, the company announced Thursday.

The KS-SQI is a service quality evaluation index jointly developed by the Korean Standards Association and Seoul National University's Business Research Institute. It surveys customers who have used a given service and selects the top-ranked company in each industry category.

This year's second-half survey was conducted from July through September, covering 57,450 customers across 238 companies in 58 industry categories. The average score across all second-half categories was 78.5 points, up 0.9 points from the same period last year.

Coway had already claimed first place in both categories last year — nine consecutive years for water purifiers and eight for air purifiers — and extended those streaks in this year's survey.

According to Coway, all evaluation items in both categories exceeded the industry average. The company received the highest industry scores in service expertise, sincerity and proactiveness.

Coway operates both in-home managed and self-managed service options. Its in-home offering, called "Heart Service," sends trained technicians to visit customers regularly to inspect products, replace filters and perform hygiene maintenance. Sanitization results for internal water purifier tanks and flow paths are available through the company's "Safety Photo Service."

Self-managed customers receive regular deliveries of filters and maintenance tools, with complimentary in-home service visits available upon request. The IoCare+ app allows users to check product status, monitor filter life and receive replacement reminders.

"We will continue listening to our customers and working to make using our products as convenient as possible," a Coway official said.
