SM Entertainment posted operating profit of 35.48 billion won ($26.5 million) in the third quarter on a consolidated basis, down 26.4 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Wednesday.

Revenue for the same period came to 291.08 billion won, a preliminary figure showing a 9.5 percent decline on-year.

The company swung to a net loss of 1.13 billion won for the quarter.
