Program aims to strengthen marketing capabilities
Participants explore market entry strategies for real-world startups
Daehong Communications announced Wednesday that it had run a marketing capacity-building program for entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs in partnership with Hanyang University's startup support center.
The program, part of Seoul's Campus Town project, was held Oct. 27 for about 30 participants, including companies based in the Hanyang University Campus Town and Hanyang University students.
It was designed to provide practical education to early-stage entrepreneurs who lack specialized knowledge and hands-on experience in marketing and branding.
Daehong Communications developed a range of educational content covering marketing strategies essential to launching a business as well as how to leverage the latest digital technologies, with the aim of helping participants explore ways to open new markets.
The core curriculum covered industry-specific marketing and branding trends, generative engine optimization (GEO) marketing for brand visibility in the AI era, AI content creation, brand identity (BI) development and digital marketing.
Participants engaged directly with working professionals from Daehong Communications, sharing their challenges in developing and executing marketing strategies and receiving practical advice.
Sung Ji-yeon, head of Daehong Communications' marketing solutions division, said the company would "continue to share its marketing expertise with society through various partnerships, including industry-academia collaboration, and contribute to the growth of the startup ecosystem and the creation of sustainable social value."
