Smartwatch health data and AI Sleepbot sleep tracking unified in one app; contactless sensing triggers airbag adjustment when snoring detected; smart home appliance control expands platform beyond snoring management
AI sleep solution company Tenmindz is introducing a new feature that consolidates daytime health data recorded by wearable devices with nighttime sleep information into a single platform.
Tenmindz announced Tuesday that it has unveiled Sleep Relay, a feature connecting activity and health data accumulated by smartwatches and health management apps to its next-generation sleep management solution, AI Sleepbot.
Sleep Relay pulls data from wearable devices — such as the Galaxy Watch or Apple Watch — into the AI Sleepbot app once users grant permission through Android's Health Connect or Apple's HealthKit. The synced data includes step counts, exercise calories, heart rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen levels.
With the feature, users can view a comprehensive picture within a single app, tracking daytime activity trends alongside nighttime measurements such as sleep duration, snoring, tossing and turning, and changes in the sleep environment.
AI Sleepbot goes beyond data logging by incorporating hardware control technology that actively intervenes during sleep. Through the company's proprietary contactless sleep sensing technology, AI Air, the device detects subtle air pressure changes when a user rests their head on the pillow and analyzes head position and movement.
When snoring is detected, a built-in air pressure airbag automatically adjusts the height and angle of the head to open the airway and help reduce snoring.
The platform also supports smart home integration, switching bedroom appliances — including air conditioners, air purifiers and lighting — to sleep mode when the user goes to bed.
"If a smartwatch records the health data of daily life, AI Sleepbot takes that data into the night's sleep and physically intervenes at the moment it is needed," said Jang Seung-woong, CEO of Tenmindz. "We will expand our scope into a comprehensive sleep management platform for all users interested in their health and sleep — not just snoring patients."
Tenmindz is a sleep-tech company specializing in analyzing and managing sleep disorders and sleep patterns in everyday life, starting with its Motion Pillow, which combines AI and contactless airbag technology. The company plans to officially launch AI Sleepbot — its next-generation sleep management solution incorporating the Sleep Relay feature — in the domestic market in early December.
