Poongsan reported third-quarter operating profit of 108.84 billion won ($81.2 million), up 155.6 percent from a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing Tuesday.

Revenue for the same period rose 39.5 percent to 1.64 trillion won.

Net profit for the period came to 62.67 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 92.4 percent increase from a year earlier.
