Guro-gu will hold a youth-led cultural festival drawing some 300 participants between the ages of 9 and 24, along with local residents.

The district will stage the "2026 Guro Youth Dream Concert & Hip-Guro Youth Stage" at Oryu Art Hall on Nov. 14, giving young performers a platform to showcase their talents.

The event combines two programs: the Guro Youth Dream Concert, in which young people perform directly on stage, and Hip-Guro Youth Stage, a participatory cultural project selected through the district's resident-proposed budget initiative. The festival runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to draw about 300 attendees, including youth and local residents.

The first half, the Dream Concert, is themed "ENOUGH — We Are Enough, Just as We Are." Two youth emcees will host the segment, and youth performance teams will take the stage with bands, vocal acts and dance routines they have been preparing.

The second half, Hip-Guro Youth Stage, begins at 3:30 p.m. with interactive games and activities designed for young audiences. Youth DJ Berri then takes over with a DJ set, followed by a performance from dance team Hanya. Rapper Raewon closes out the festival.

Attendance is open through advance registration or walk-in sign-up on the day of the event. Advance registration closes at 6 p.m. on Saturday, and the first 10 pre-registered attendees to arrive on the day will be allowed to choose their own seats.

Guro-gu District Mayor Jang In-hong said he hopes the event will give young people a meaningful opportunity to come together and enjoy themselves on a stage born from residents' own ideas, adding that the district will continue to support youth in exploring diverse cultural activities and expressing their talents.
