Jeonnam Technopark, an investment arm of South Jeolla Province, announced Monday it received the top "S" rating for the fourth consecutive year in a performance evaluation covering 19 technoparks nationwide.
The evaluation was conducted as part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 2025 Smart Factory Distribution and Expansion project. Jeonnam Technopark has supported companies in building intelligent factories at both advanced and basic levels each year since 2019.
The top rating was based on statistical and analytical assessments of data accumulated through a platform built to support companies that have established intelligent factories under the smart factory distribution and expansion initiative.
Located in the Yulchon Industrial Complex, Jeonnam Technopark has supported smart factory construction at 1,165 companies and is also running the South Jeolla-type Smart Factory Distribution and Expansion project.
