Broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk quipped that fellow entertainer Haha was "trying to tank" his career after learning about Haha's new song — titled "Gukbap."

According to broadcasting sources Monday, the release came up in conversation among cast members on Sunday's episode of the SBS variety program "Running Man."

"Gukbap," released in late October, was written and co-composed by Haha, with singer Kwon In-ha featured on the track.

Haha said the song was about telling someone: "Someday, far in the future, when you've made it big and we meet again, I'll gladly buy you a warm bowl of gukbap."

Yang Se-chan joked that "they say a song follows its title," a riff on the Korean expression for flopping — and Yoo piled on, saying, "I'm telling you, it's going to tank."

Haha fired back: "It's fine if it tanks. All that matters is cheering on their dreams."

When Haha performed "Gukbap" on the show, Ji Suk-jin responded with great enthusiasm. Yoo remarked, "The best reaction among us is from the one in their 60s," to which Ji replied, "It's really good. I thought I was going crazy."
