Domestic sales of 2,703 units in October, down 29.1% from a year earlier
Exports of 2,800 units, down 17.4% year-on-year
Renault Korea sold a total of 5,503 vehicles in October — 2,703 in the domestic market and 2,800 through exports — the company announced Monday.
Domestic sales rose 18.1 percent from the previous month to 2,703 units, marking three consecutive months of growth. However, the figure was down 29.1 percent from the same period last year.
The Grand Koleos, a midsize family SUV, and the Arkana, a coupe-style SUV at an accessible price point, led domestic sales with 1,066 and 1,075 units sold, respectively. The flagship Filante crossover added 562 units to the domestic tally.
On the export side, Renault Korea shipped 2,800 vehicles in October, including 531 Arkanas, 429 Grand Koleos units (marketed abroad as the New Koleos), 25 Filantes and 1,815 Polestar 4s. The total was down 17.4 percent from the same month a year earlier.
Meanwhile, Renault Korea launched a limited run of 1,000 units of the Noir Edition — a black-concept variant of the top-trim Esprit Alpine of its flagship Filante crossover — as part of broader marketing efforts to expand its customer reach.
