Two sessions Saturday at the Four Seasons Garden will offer children aged 5 and older and their families air bounce rides, robot soccer, RC car racing and creative activities, with 200 spots per session
Gwangjin-gu in Seoul is preparing a play festival where children and families can run, play and build autumn memories together.
The district will hold the "2026 Pangpang Playground for the Whole Family" at the Four Seasons Garden inside Seoul Children's Grand Park on Saturday.
The event targets children aged 5 and older who live in Gwangjin-gu, along with accompanying family members, and will run in two sessions — one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each session will accommodate 200 participants, for a total of 400.
The play area will be divided into an air bounce zone, a small-scale play zone and a creative play zone.
The air bounce zone will feature seven large inflatable rides to encourage active physical play. The small-scale zone will offer RC car racing, a colored cone game, miniature car curling and a toy-gun target game, among other activities.
The creative zone will run hands-on programs designed to nurture children's creativity and imagination, including drawing-based coding, robot soccer and keyboard-key keychain making.
Side events for the whole family will also be on offer, including balloon art, face painting and a four-cut photo booth.
Online pre-registration has closed, but walk-in registration will be available on the day at the Four Seasons Garden information desk from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with 40 spots per session offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

"I hope children will run and play to their hearts' content amid the autumn colors of Seoul Children's Grand Park and create warm memories with their families," Gwangjin-gu District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho said. "We will continue to expand the range of play and hands-on experiences so that children can grow up happy and healthy."
