Tinkerbell, the fragrance curation brand of automotive products company Bullsone, announced Monday the launch of the Tinkerbell The Hinoki Solid Deodorizer, a product designed to neutralize unpleasant household odors while leaving a subtle hinoki cypress scent.

The Hinoki line is a new addition to Tinkerbell's plant-derived deodorizing technology, now enhanced with real hinoki cypress oil. Suitable for use throughout the home — including bathrooms, bedrooms and entryways — the product delivers a clear, refreshing cypress scent meant to evoke the feeling of a forest bath.

The oil is extracted from young hinoki cypress leaves sourced from the Healing Forest on Chungnyeongsan in Jangseong, South Jeolla Province, home to the country's largest hinoki cypress plantation. The leaves are processed using steam distillation to minimize changes to their active compounds, and the resulting oil is blended with essential oils including eucalyptus and cedarwood to recreate a rich forest fragrance. A "fragrance veil" structure is also applied to ensure the scent diffuses evenly and lasts longer.

The formula features reinforced plant-derived deodorizing ingredients extracted from persimmon, green tea and bamboo. Certified laboratory testing confirmed the product's effectiveness against eight major odors, with ammonia deodorization tests recording a 99% elimination rate within five minutes.

The solid gel format also offers practical convenience. Made with seaweed-derived ingredients, the contents will not spill or run even if the container is knocked over, and the formula is designed to maintain consistent deodorizing performance throughout its lifespan. The product lasts up to 50 days, though actual duration may vary depending on temperature, ventilation and other environmental conditions.

The Tinkerbell The Hinoki Solid Deodorizer is available in a 230-gram size. Detailed product information and purchases are available through Tinkerbell's Smartstore and other online channels.

"The Tinkerbell The Hinoki Solid Deodorizer combines precious hinoki cypress oil sourced from the Healing Forest with plant-derived deodorizing ingredients, balancing the comfort of nature with everyday odor care," said Park Min-jeong, brand manager at Tinkerbell. "We removed unnecessary ingredients with consumers who are sensitive to fragrances or scrutinize product components in mind, as well as households with infants and pets, so that users can experience powerful deodorizing performance alongside the refreshing feel of a hinoki forest."

Meanwhile, Tinkerbell recently launched a large-capacity solid perfume deodorizer. The new product comes in an 850-gram size — about 3.7 times the volume of the standard 230-gram product — and features a surface area roughly 2.2 times larger, allowing for up to 200 days of use, according to the company.
