Singer Kim Jang-hoon was left speechless after learning how much national pension he stands to receive.
A preview clip featuring Kim aired at the end of Sunday's episode of SBS's My Little Old Boy, teasing the singer's appearance in the next showing.
Kim appeared in the preview shouting from early in the morning as part of an unusual vocal warm-up routine. Seo Jang-hoon reacted to the exercise, saying it was "a little scary."
Kim then had a phone conversation in which he asked, "Am I even old enough to collect national pension?" Upon learning that the age to start receiving benefits was approaching, Kim asked, "How much would I get?" After being told the estimated monthly amount, Kim exclaimed, "Per month? They give you that much?"
Kim then called Ha-ha to ask for a favor — an introduction to a woman. "Set me up with someone," Kim said. "I am ready to meet someone." Ha-ha suggested that Kim visit the district office, joking that half the people at the kiosks there were women and that it could naturally lead to what Koreans call "jamanchoo" — pursuing chance encounters — drawing laughs.
