Collaboration with fine-stay curation platform Stayfolio
Exclusive accommodations and perks for Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 owners
'Differentiated customer experience' to continue
Swedish premium electric vehicle brand Polestar announced Monday it is launching Polestar Stay Gangneung as part of its strategy to expand its customer loyalty program.
Polestar Stay is a customer loyalty program designed to let owners experience the Polestar lifestyle through travel and leisure even after taking delivery of their vehicles. Developed in collaboration with fine-stay curation platform Stayfolio, the program offers exclusive accommodations that reflect the character of each destination, along with a range of perks. After debuting in Jeju earlier this year, the program is now expanding to Gangneung, giving customers access to a wider variety of travel and rest options.
The new Polestar Stay Gangneung offers a distinctive lodging experience that blends the natural scenery of the East Sea coast with architecturally independent spaces. Polestar customers will have exclusive use of "Bo," a duplex private room at Surisanbo, a property perched on a hill overlooking Gyeongpo Lake. The room features a private terrace, an indoor bathtub and an outdoor jacuzzi, allowing guests to enjoy a secluded retreat in nature.
Guests will receive a branded welcome gift that includes a Polestar-exclusive room spray and a vegetable leather tray set made from sustainable materials. Seasonally curated premium teas and eco-friendly amenities are also provided, and outdoor barbecue and jacuzzi access are available at no extra charge. Dedicated parking and complimentary charging are included to support a convenient trip.
The program is open to customers who have taken delivery of a Polestar 3 or Polestar 4. Participants may choose either Jeju or Gangneung for a two-night, three-day stay once per year. Reservations opened Sunday through a Polestar-exclusive page on Stayfolio, with a booking deposit of 100,000 won ($75).
Ham Jong-seong, CEO of Polestar Korea, said the company has been building out its customer loyalty program so that owners can continue to experience the brand's values long after purchasing a vehicle. "We will keep expanding differentiated customer programs and benefits so that customers can experience the brand's values across a variety of everyday moments," Ham said.
Meanwhile, Polestar recently conducted a pilot study with researchers at the University of Oxford's SDG Impact Lab to measure the performance drivers perceive behind the wheel.
