Yecheon-gun in North Gyeongsang Province has concluded three festivals showcasing the county's agricultural bounty, archery heritage and commitment to lifelong learning.
According to Yecheon-gun, the county held the 2026 Yecheon Archery Festival, the 2026 Yecheon Agricultural Products Festival and the 13th North Gyeongsang Province Lifelong Learning Expo at Hancheon Sports Park from Friday through Sunday.
This year, the three events ran concurrently so visitors could enjoy direct-sale farm markets, archery experiences and lifelong learning programs all in one visit.
The agricultural products festival, held under the theme "Bountiful Harvest! The Best of K-Agriculture, Yecheon!", featured direct-sale markets run by producers from across the county's towns and villages, exhibitions of premium and eco-friendly produce, and promotions and sales of processed agri-food products.
The archery festival offered traditional Korean archery and Olympic-style archery experiences, a team archery competition known as "Hwal Gongseong-jeon," and live demonstrations of traditional Korean bow-making — all reflecting Yecheon's reputation as a home of archery.
The 13th North Gyeongsang Province Lifelong Learning Expo brought together regional lifelong learning achievements through a themed pavilion, promotional and hands-on booths representing cities and counties across the province, and an exhibition of participants' works.
"We will work to make Yecheon's outstanding agricultural products, archery tradition and lifelong learning achievements reasons for people to visit and want to stay," Yecheon-gun County Mayor An Byeong-yun said.
