President Lee Jae Myung shared a post Saturday predicting a drop in Seoul home prices, saying the country is "enduring a difficult path toward normalizing the asset market."

Writing on X, formerly Twitter, Lee said, "After this time of patience passes, we will ultimately come to understand," and added, "The people's sovereignty government will deliver."

The post Lee shared was written by an internet user under the headline: "Gangnam real estate agents' candid policy assessment: 'Meticulous and strategic … home prices look set to fall.'"

The post cited observations among licensed real estate agents in Seoul's Gangnam and Seocho areas that if the Lee administration maintains its current real estate policy direction, Seoul home prices will soon enter a downward phase.

Meanwhile, Lee posted five separate messages on social media Saturday, continuing to use the platform as a channel for communicating policy positions.
