Shinsegae Live Shopping signed a mid- to long-term logistics cooperation MOU with CJ Logistics on Friday at its headquarters in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.

The agreement aims to expand cooperation across a range of areas, including building a stable logistics operations framework, upgrading logistics infrastructure and developing new services.

The two companies also plan to work together to improve customer service quality and operational efficiency in response to the evolving retail environment.

The two companies agreed to jointly review logistics services needed for new business initiatives and explore ways to deliver differentiated customer experiences.

The companies currently operate several joint delivery services, including "Jigeum Quick," which delivers orders placed in Seoul within five hours; "Shinsegae Live Shopping O-NE," which directly manages products shipped by partner vendors; next-day delivery; and seven-days-a-week delivery.

"Logistics service is one of the core competencies that determines the customer experience," a Shinsegae Live Shopping official said. "Building on our cooperation with CJ Logistics, we will not only establish a stable logistics infrastructure but also introduce a variety of services to enhance customer convenience."
