GDR Academy to debut new program at Seongnam Pangyo branch on Nov. 9

GDR Academy, an indoor golf academy operated by Golfzon, will launch a new program called GDR Performance on Nov. 9, combining physical fitness training with swing technique instruction.

The academy announced Friday that the program moves beyond conventional swing-correction lessons to analyze a golfer's body movement and athletic ability.

GDR Performance begins with a preliminary assessment to identify each participant's physical characteristics, then delivers customized training based on the results. The program pairs physical conditioning — targeting mobility, balance, strength and power essential to the golf swing — with technical drills designed to improve swing accuracy and efficiency.

The program will launch first at the company-owned Seongnam Pangyo branch before expanding to other directly operated locations. Ahead of the launch, the academy is running an early-reservation promotion through Nov. 6 that includes discounts and a complimentary tubing band.

"GDR Performance was conceived around the insight that physical capability is just as important as technical training in achieving a more complete golf swing," said Baek Du-hwan, executive director of GDR Academy. "We hope golfers will experience meaningful improvements in their swing performance through systematic training tailored to their individual physical characteristics."
