MINI Korea announced Friday that it will officially launch the MINI Cooper Oxford Edition — a limited-run model reimagining the brand's British heritage in a contemporary form — on Saturday.

Oxford, England, is the birthplace of the MINI brand. The classic Mini, celebrated for fitting generous interior space and distinctive design into a compact body, was first produced there in 1959. Since 2001, BMW Group has continued manufacturing the modern MINI at the same site.

The MINI Cooper Oxford Edition is a special model commemorating the 25th anniversary of MINI production at the Oxford factory. Union Jack-inspired design elements appear throughout the vehicle, expressing the brand's roots and character.

Built on the MINI Cooper C 3-door Classic trim, the Oxford Edition will be sold in Korea in a run of just 30 units. Bold Union Jack graphics and exclusive details are layered onto MINI's iconic silhouette to maximize the collectible appeal of the limited edition.

The Oxford Edition pairs a deep Indigo Sunset Blue body with a Union Jack roof, offering a clear homage to the classic Mini while giving the edition a presence all its own. White side mirror caps provide a crisp contrast to the body color, conveying MINI's characteristically playful sensibility.

Striking red and white stripes run from the center of the roof all the way to the bonnet and tailgate, lending the design a sense of visual unity. The car rides on 17-inch parallel-spoke wheels fitted with exclusive heritage wheel caps and Union Jack valve caps, carrying the limited-edition character through to the finest details.

The interior blends MINI heritage with a modern sensibility. A knitted-fabric dashboard and door trim in harmonizing black and blue tones create a composed yet refined atmosphere, while sport seats combining black Vescin material with blue fabric reinforce the interior's cohesive design.

The heritage entry sill revealed when a door opens carries an edition-exclusive pattern, and the floor mats feature a checkered motif that nods to the brand's motorsport DNA. Exclusive details extend to every surface that catches the eye during entry and exit, ensuring the Oxford Edition's distinctive character is felt at every moment.

Power comes from a MINI TwinPower Turbo inline four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 163 horsepower and 25.5 kilogram-meters of torque, paired with a seven-speed Steptronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. The car accelerates from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.7 seconds.

A range of driver-assistance systems supports safe and comfortable driving. The car comes with Active Cruise Control with stop-and-go capability and Driving Assistant Plus, which includes steering and lane-keeping assist. A Parking Assistant providing a rear camera along with parking and reverse-assist functions is also fitted as standard.

A 9.4-inch circular OLED display at the center of the dashboard delivers sharp graphics and an intuitive interface, with a Korea-specific MINI navigation system based on T-map included as standard.

MINI Korea will give the Oxford Edition its domestic debut at the 2026 MINI Our Stories customer festival, held Saturday and Sunday at the BMW Driving Center on Yeongjongdo, Incheon.

The MINI Cooper C Oxford Edition is priced at 44.2 million won ($33,100), including VAT.

Meanwhile, MINI Korea has been expanding customer touchpoints through a range of marketing initiatives, including the world's first JCW Garage — a dedicated service space for customers of MINI's high-performance John Cooper Works sub-brand — which recently opened in Korea.
