Lehmann Maupin Seoul in Yongsan-gu is presenting a solo exhibition by Kim Yoon-shin titled "New Consecutive." The show marks Kim's first solo exhibition at the gallery's Seoul space since returning to Korea after roughly four decades of working in Argentina, Mexico and other countries. Spread across the first and second floors, the exhibition brings together paintings, wood sculptures and painting-sculptures spanning past and present. Visitors can trace Kim's distinctive visual language — built on repetitive practice and a physical attunement to materials — and the ways that language continues to expand into new territory.
