Dong-A Otsuka highlights hydration for expectant mothers at COEX baby fair

Dong-A Otsuka is participating in the 111th COEX Kobe Baby Fair & Parenting Education Exhibition, running through Sunday at COEX in Seoul, to showcase its Pocari Sweat Ion Water.

Pocari Sweat Ion Water is a daily hydration drink designed to go down as lightly and refreshingly as water. The beverage is low in calories and sugar and contains no artificial coloring, caffeine or artificial flavoring. Dong-A Otsuka said it aims to raise awareness of everyday hydration among expectant and new mothers, particularly given the importance of adequate fluid intake before and after pregnancy and childbirth.

At the booth, visitors can sample Ion Water and take part in a true-or-false quiz and a survey event; participants receive one bottle of Ion Water and a reusable shopping bag. Also new this year, a "Letter to Myself" event invites expectant mothers to write words of encouragement to themselves, with a box of Ion Water (20 bottles) awarded to winners selected by draw.
