Event set for Saturday at Ulsan Garden Support Center
Gardens built around theme of 'Coexistence — Nature and People'
Ulsan will hold the 2026 Ulsan Garden Story Fair on Saturday along the Taehwa River floodplain near the Ulsan Garden Support Center in Jung-gu.
The city organized the event to work with residents in transforming Ulsan into a more beautiful garden city ahead of the 2028 Ulsan International Garden Exposition.
The fairgrounds along the Taehwa River floodplain will feature works selected through a public competition that closed Sept. 15. The entries include 15 community and student participation gardens and three model gardens, all built around the theme "Coexistence — Nature and People."
Alongside this, the fair will host a photography exhibition titled "Four Seasons of a Naturalistic Garden: Through the Eyes of a Landscape Architect," as well as hands-on activities — visitors can pot and care for companion plants or craft friendship bracelets using cypress cones.
