Paradise announced Friday that it had fully funded the production of a youth gambling prevention video ad in partnership with the Korea Center on Gambling Problems.
The ad was produced under an MOU on fostering a healthy leisure culture that the two organizations signed in September last year, and will be released through broadcast and online channels starting later this month.
Carrying the slogan "My Game Is Different," the ad delivers a message of encouragement for young people to step away from online gambling and pursue their own dreams and potential. Paradise said it supported the production to raise awareness of the importance of preventing gambling problems and to draw broader public attention to the issue.
Paradise also sponsored the third Youth Gambling Prevention Week commemorative event held at Ttukseom Hangang Park in Seoul in May, with company employees participating on-site.
As a casino operator, Paradise has continued to expand its responsible-gaming programs — running addiction prevention centers, introducing a self-imposed gaming time limit system, and developing a gambling addiction prediction system.
The company said it plans to keep contributing to a healthy leisure culture through youth gambling prevention initiatives and broader corporate social responsibility activities.
"Preventing youth gambling is an important challenge that our society must tackle together to protect the next generation," a Paradise official said. "We will continue to expand practical prevention efforts through partnerships with specialist organizations and remain committed to fostering a healthy leisure culture and fulfilling our social responsibilities."
